the great thing is all the headache has been worked out, you still have to weld, but there's kits available to make it easy that are relatively cheap.

 

even if you don't buy a shitload....if you already have a Prime membership you might as well use the card...

 

Yea, the ruff stuff kit is only about 150.

This is one of the reasons I’m buying a welder and learning the process.

 

if you have a costco or samsclub i'd recommend getting their credit cards. sams is 5% back on fuel which is crazy and costco is 4% back, then 3% back on travel expenses and restaurants, then my citi card picks up after that for everything else at 2% cash back.

I have not bought a single thing from a store in over a year an not gotten AT LEAST 2% cash back, even bills that don't charge you extra for using a credit card i have set up to automatically draft this card.

cash back adds up quick over a years time.

also speaking of credit cards, i opened one of these bad boys around christmas got my $500 bonus and 1% cashback in hand kept the card open for about 2 months and closed it because the yearly $95 charge. if it was free i'd have simply thrown it in my safe and forgot about it, but I closed it.

i'll probably open another one and do the same, except if it's free yearly not close the account. My credit is great so i don't really care about that. I didn't even take a hit from closing or opening the last card.

They sell outriggers that offset the rear bracketry enough for the frame taper. I’ll be buying those along with the ruff stuff kit. There’s still going to be a ton of measureing though. I’ll probably modify those BAMF shock mounts too in order to fit 14 inch shocks. I’ll try and push the mount as high in the wheel well as I can. May end up going a different route and selling @stronghammer that kit.

well, I can't weld. so that limits my options. I'd have to find a good deal on longer shocks first.

 

I’m not a fan for 320 bucks. Seems excessive when the Ford shock towers are 40. I know there’s a huge difference between them as far as construction is concerned, but they achieve the same end goal.

 

True. The ford ones are definitely a good route.
