anyone have any suggestions for bulk foam, like gun case type foam? Looking for pelican case foam alternatives. I cannot justify spending over $50 over a few pieces of foam.. thinking fabric stores may be an option.

I think for the price it takes to buy the direct replacements, or even buy too much bulk amount, I can just buy a Plano gun case for close to the same price lol. Maybe I'll just find another use for my pelican case without foam!

Look for foam that fits Pelican cases, but not a Pelican product.

I have found it before on Amazon.

I found a few different options, still gonna be about $40 average to get what I'd need from what I've seen so far. I'm not entirely sure what I wanna use my pelican cases for yet, so not sure if I even need to look for foam yet! I scored a 1750 and 2750. Debated turning the 2750 as a "grab-n-go" camp kitchen setup, and doing away with one of my swing cases. Hmmm.

A full set for $40 is about right.

This is worth looking through though:

thanks, I looked through alot of those options. The more I think about it, I think I'm gonna keep the 1750 case for something other than a rifle. Afterall, someone had it bolted to their roof rack, so I just plugged a bunch of holes in it. Even though I'm confident its not gonna leak, for $40 I'll just buy a Plano case with brand new foam lol.

I am about to bolt 2, 42” plano cases to my roof rack for tools and parts in Moab.
