No test needed we all know which is better.

    2nd gen.
    This guy knows.

Nah, we gotta let somebody else keep funding the new trucks so they have money to fix their mistakes.

That doesnt prove a generational difference though, it just shows who has modded what more.

You pay for any repairs, so it can maintain the DD status and we can make that happen.

They still arent equally modded. Unless you do the exact same mods to them. You would think a car guy would know the 4.0 is the best of the best, and that the 3rd gens are fuglyyyy. Lol.

You can add fancy gadgets to first and second gens to get some of the features 3rd gens have, but you cant reverse the ugly on a 3rd gen. Hahaha

I am a little bit too excited to get to run by my house and then call my electricians and chew somebody's ass out.

Yesterday was the 5th day they were not there working, on a 10 day schedule that was supposed to finish March 22nd, that has now been extended to March 29th, and they still haven't completed the work, and I was supposed to receive a call this morning explaining why nobody was there yesterday and when everything would be wrapped up.

    No call received.

    Scotty about to go off.

4.0 is underpowered. 3.5 has way more power just to far up in the rpm range. So the engines feel the same. Its the trans that makes it feel so bad, Trans is better in the 2nd gen. The rear end is better in the 3rd. I dont use my fancy systems very often, only as a last resort. The rear locker gets used a bit. As far as mods go our trucks are on par with each other, yours has bigger tires but lighter front and rear bumpers than mine. So should be an accurate comparison and we will have the 1stgen guy make the decision.

True but that engine was a dog and not nearly as reliable as the 2.7 and the 3.4. But as far as the truck its self your right.
