To me, rooting for your rival is just dumb. I don't wish anything bad to them as far as injuries or anything ridiculous like that but do I want the barn to get beat by a hundo, YES...YES I DO!

 

agree 100%. I always get asked how I can pull against SEC in football bowl games, because fans seem to think the money shared between the SEC is the biggest factor lol. I'm like "uh, LSU getting a few hundred thousand dollars doesn't help the program as much as their rivals getting their ass stomped does". They've got money, they've got history, they've got a good program...what they need...is for their main competitors to suck ass lol

lol I definitely don't get caught up in all the details like recruiting and following every players story. those folks are tooooo into it to me.

if we are talking SEC I'm obviously LSU 100%. Never Bama. Never Florida. Even if those 2 teams play against ISIS or Satan. I like Auburn well enough, but mainly because they don't have enough great seasons to honestly affect LSU, plus they play them early enough in the football season it's a recoverable game if it's a loss.

Don't really have "favorites" outside of the SEC but I have teams I never want to win, Notre Dame, Ohio State, USC, Texas. Unless they play Alabama or Florida, then I'm their biggest fan lol.

Also, screw teams like Boise State/UCF/etc that think they're good because they win their peewee leagues. Sit the F down.

lol now in March Madness, since I'm not really a basketball fan at all....I'm pulling for whoever I chose in the bracket.

I'm pulling for LSU 100% even though I chose against them today...but that's the only mistake on the bracket I'm ever ok with. I need the rest of my games to be correct!

 

I would have the worst bracket ever if Bama were to make it in. I wouldn't pick against them, never, ever.

 

haha I can pick against LSU just because I know it's for money at work, but I'm going to pull for them and hope they prove me wrong.

 

Whenever Bama has actually made in the dance.....very, VERY rarely, I will always make 2 brackets and I always have Bama going all the way in 1.

 

That might be a tough call...money is a a trump card .
