I can't sell any of my setup to anyone in here if were to go the cap route, bc then I'd have to oversell it lol. I'd have to not make a good deal on it all, so I could afford a cap hah.

The issue with this is when you're hired for contract labor it's a PITA to have someone watch over your work the entire time and ask questions over and over again. Yes you answer them, but I absolutely love the customers who just go inside and let me work.

I know this guys not working for you, it's just aggravating to be constantly questioned.

It's typically easier to just buy them off a vendor. I have had SOS Concepts fill plates in my toolbox for over a year that need to be welded on.

lol I was 100% referring to the discussion with Scott, not with the contractors. I let them work, but I want to make sure it's done right. With this stuff work can be done that I can visibly see so I monitor what I can.

Care to school me on what the plates are for? CMC isn't something I've truly looked into because I knew I wouldn't have any issues with my 32" tires. Is it simply just to give a smooth finish/edge?

their posting "is currently under review, and we have notified our Creations department that the price is sadly not correct, and it seems it was put up by accident."

With that being said, let me know if you make it to the shipping notification! lol

Its just a cap to keep junk out of the mount. It doesn't perform any critical structural role.

I generally agree, but I do like having customers that pay attention, and care about what I am doing.

What they said. I haven't had any issues in the almost 2 years I have had the CMC with no fill plates.

agree, but we both know "those" people. I like being asked questions or curiosity, but hate the people who are arrogant.
