Will that size fit without a lift? A skinny tire?

I was going with 265/70/17 as my next tire size, but if 255/80/17 will fit, I'd love to have a taller pizza cutter tire!

Rims and tires. Id kinda like to have all 4. Then i could have 3 trailer tires and put my truck spare on the 4th wheel.

Thanks Mark. I plan on doing a mild 2" lift, so fitting shouldn't be an issue then.

House passed structural inspection for the beam the contractors put in! Woohoo now we can start putting everything back together.

if you're running those wheels and 255s i don't think rubbing will be of any issue.

how big of rims can you run with the skinny 255s you may need smaller width wheels. Idk this just saying it could be an issue.

Also keep in mind that the folks claiming to not rub with 255s are often using stock width wheels which are 7” or 7.5” (don’t remember which). A 255 will be a bit wider on a 9” wide wheel.

I guess I'll just stick with the 265/70/17s when it comes time for tires!

I swear to Buddha one of these days we (me and wife) are going to catch a break. Get home from building a friend a nook and come home to about 2 millions termites in my kitchen and den. 2 hours of vacuuming and cleaning up later the house got back to normal. They chewed through a window sill in 3 places but luckily the structural integrity is still good and the holes are small and able to be patched and sealed. I hadn't updated my termite bond yet this quarter so after just getting off the phone with the bug guy, to get the house rebonded and fix what damage was done we are out 3 grand. Other than my beautiful healthy daughter, if I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have luck at all!
