I aint doing shit this weekend except planting my ass on the couch and watching The Masters!

 

Fackkkkkkk something is wrong with the 4runner!!!

I have no idea what it is. Drove it home from the office when we got back yesterday and it did fine. Got in it this morning to drive to work, made it to about Martin road and it was fully warmed up so it relaxed its rpms below 2k and started violently shaking. Any press of the gas pedal made it do it. If I mashed hard and got it back over 2k rpm it went away but anything below it was shaking like an earthquake.

 

Could it be a motor mount or bushing?

 

Damn, did you make it to work or did you go back home and get the truck? Did it try cutting off or just vibrate?

 

No idea. I'll have to look when I get home.

Yeah I got it home and just drove the truck in. It didnt try to cut off just shook like hell. When I stopped in the driveway it shook then I put it in park and it went away.

 

Thats weird that it just started after sitting for a few days.

 

Yeah when I got back yesterday it took 2 tries to get it to crank, which I figured was fine after sitting for 4 days. And it ran fine. It was just after this morning when it warmed itself up

 

Did it throw a code?

 

Nope.

Yet another poor soul that just doesn't "get it" when it comes to golf and especially The Masters

 

I actually rank golf up pretty high as far as "watchable sports on TV". Baseball is dead last, soccer is probably next, basketball is pretty low aside from March Madness. At least for golf, unlike baseball, there is ALWAYS somebody hitting the ball. It's not hit, wait 5 minutes, talk about some stuff while another lines up, hit, wait some more, blah blah blah...

 

I've grown up around golf my whole life. From my dad literally almost missing me being born because he was on the golf course, to my grandfather being the marshall at my home course so I would ride around with him often. Appreciating golf is very similar to appreciating a fine bourbon or scotch. You have to be sophisticated and a got durn MAN! HAHA

























j/k.....kinda. I get it though, I think Nascar is the dumbest thing ever. Throw some oil spots and obstacles on the track and make them dodge that shit and make it more interesting.
