I installed it with all the hardware that it came with. IMO there’s too many bolt on pieces on the ARB that could cause weak points. Other bumper manufacturers fully weld the bumper to the cradle.

 

So where the cradle arms actually part of the bumper (actually welded on) or part of the hardware included? Gotta link for that? Im interested now

I get my Wet Okole seat covers tomorrow! Been too long since I've had something I can just put in my truck without having to fabricate anything. I'll actually get to enjoy it without breaking my back. Lol. Also, parts for the tire swingout get here next week so I'll be building that soon as well.

 

Don't be so sure about that. Those things are 100% form fitting and can be quite the fickle bitch to put on by yourself. Don't underestimate those things. They were a super PITA on my old 97 tacoma and my 05 tacoma.

 

@pat's taco so I went to Pivotal Weather to look again at the STP. This is a model for 11pm tonight and it's sounding. Note the PDS TOR located in the lower right box in magenta (Possible Hazard Type). PDS-TOR = Particularly Dangerous Situations Watch or Warning. This means if issued, that Meteorologist have a very high confidence of strong tornadoes in this area.



The box below, containing 5.1, is where this sounding was generated. It's located just North of Mobile but given the fact you cannot predict a tornado's exact location, I'd say you guys really need to be on alert. Radio, phones, heck stay up if you have to so that you can heed to warnings issued. This is all based off computer models so by 10pm tonight things could change but just keep in mind there is a good possibility for strong tornadoes down your way.

 

Can't be any worse than persuading steel to take a shape it doesn't want to.

I built them myself less than 6 months ago. In fact I did an entire 12-15 front end conversion less than 6 months ago and now it’s all trashed lol. I can salvage the projectors and halos and pieces like that to retro another set of headlights. I’m gonna do a pro grill reretrofit and sos bumper probably. Might as well upgrade lol

 

Meh there’s not much I can do about it no point in being beat up about it. I’m a firm believer if it breaks then upgrade it so it’s just an opportunity to put better parts on my truck and try to prevent it from happening again.

 

Oh man even more of the suck! At least you can salvage some of them, especially the main/expensive parts, to do it again. Heck yea, why not upgrade.
