    I just know, for myself, I'm going to be looking at other options than an RTT if I've got kiddos tagging along. That's what makes the ground tent more appealing to me too.

    That's a negative. No need for an RTT. If I'm camping solo, I can rig up my hammock. More than one person other than my wife, they can figure out their own sleeping arrangements. Lol. Chances are I'll get a decent ground tent whenever I can get my wife to go.
