    6.6 million people apparently did...

for real though, I get it if you just don't watch tv or don't have HBO access or whatever, but when people just think they're cool for not watching the popular show they sound stupid lol. all I hear is "I'm cool for refusing to watch something awesome and I'd rather watch shit on tv"

I don't think I've ever watched Game of Thrones. My 20 year old daughter has been watching it for years though!

I don't hear anybody act like they are the cool kid for watching it though. They watch it because it's good, not because it's the cool thing to do.

But thats how alot of these shows become popular. A few people watch it here and there and make a big deal about it(word of mouth), thus creating the cult like following for it. Not saying thats why you or anyone else in here is watching it. But, I would say there is a pretty high % of people that only started watching it because it was the popular thing to do. It being a good show outside of that is just a bonus the ones that actually watch it strictly for that.

sure, but that's how ANYTHING gets popular. it's not weird to talk about doing something that's popular and trying to get others to do it, it's weird to not do something just to be different and then to brag about that.

I do live outside. I'd rather be sitting on my back deck strumming a guitar, than watching something on TV. TV just doesn't interest me very much any more. News, some sports, weather and that's about it.

I do. I played violin during grade school, taught piano for a few years and picked up the guitar and taught myself how to play. It's hard to haul a piano out to your campspot, so I learned guitar!

Sure, why not! I was still pulling muscadine vines off my property around 8pm last night! That's why we have spotlights in the yard!

GoT is great, but if a new person tried to sit down with me on sundays and watch the last two episodes they wouldn't like it because it's all about character and story development atm.

TWD started sucking a lot, the characters are aging faster than the shows progressing, I did enjoy it, but now it's almost like they should just start focusing on maybe a few movies and end it, or just do spin offs with new takes.

Those are the only current ongoing shows I watch.

I am waiting on stranger things 3 though, and maybe that crap show The 100.
