go with what you want, braking may be worse so drive even more cautiously, braking is something you'll get used to.
even if you lose 1 mpg going from the same size to MT even if MTs are heavier really isn't going to break the bank.

More than braking and fuel loss I'd be more worried about road noise. That shit drives me crazy if it drones.

out of everything you named you're going to get less than what you're currently getting.

I was referring more to the difference between the maxx vs pro

I'm just giving you a hard time Mark! lol You'll get what you want and you'll be happy with them once they are on your truck. Well, at least until you go offroad and get stuck. Then you'll be thinking, "why didn't I just go with the Pros?" :D

@Jerneyman do you think these are 45* bends where they attach to the bumper? I’m planning on doing something similar soon, but following the fender line. I need some more side protection until I go HC.

Also remember that a lot of the mpg calculations you read on here are probably wrong and/or resemble geographical bias.

They look to be. If the bends are anything normal, it’s usually a 30, 45, 60, or 90. Anything less than 45 is typically harder to cope to a flat surface or notch at that bend angle. My chop saw cuts to a 45 so anything more than that I end up using a grinder.

You know you want the pros. Your fuel econ is gunna take a hit no matter what you pick, so why not get exactly what you want. Just go with the pros, youll still get 30k-40k miles out of them.
