so I'm helping plan our 10 year high school reunion and we are trying to get enough ticket sales to cover the deposit and the total cost as well.

we graduated with 154 people....we need 28 tickets sold to pay the deposit and 63 sold to pay for the entire thing. tickets are $35/person includes drink ticket/cake/photos/entertainment/venue.

we can't even get 28 people....like wtf...are reunions a thing of the past?

 

that's just sad to me. out of the 154 we graduated with...145 were in kindergarten together too, 13 years straight of school together. it's like a dang family.

social media is for watching not interacting, in my opinion, and just supporting hoping people are successful.

idk I guess I'm old fashioned and like in person interaction and would love the nostalgia and memories a reunion provides.

 

yeah, but don't you love the mod/wheeling days and in person interaction more than just typing on here?

 

Yes. Speaking of wheeling, new job does the every other Friday off thing so I’ll be needing some trips soon.

 

well that's ballin'. if I get the job I interviewed for I'll have even less time to wheel haha, will be getting to work overtime though!

 

Boo overtime. Just get a ballin pay raise.

 

hopefully get that too. it won't be overtime like what you're thinking, as far as I've been told.

an occasional saturday/weekend work, total hours roughly what I already put in and don't get paid for lol.

less travel than I do now as well, like really unlikely to ever travel unless for something really specific.

I get that. I dunno, I feel like my class was a unique one. The smallest to graduate through Arab in 20 years when we graduated, with the highest percentage of students having been in that class from kindergarten through 12th grade.

 

There is a guy I see in the gym that looks like Tanner’s twin.

 

I know I know, I usually use my phone to show stuff or talk about what is on the phone....not to ignore or stay out of conversations. I'm an oddball though, born in the wrong time haha

 

Bunch of losers, that’s why everyone is always depressed and sad. Got their noses in SM feeling sorry for themselves because they aren’t at the beach like Joe blow over there. Even though Joe blow hasn’t been to the beach in years because he is broke. That first loser is still sad though that he isn’t at the beach like Joe blow.

 

I think our generation is the last one that somewhat has the people skills. Smartphones were not really a thing for us until high school, so we still had the face to face. With a little AOL instant messenger thrown in there.
