Alabama thread!

when I bought my house I didn't buy the closest one to work I could find. I bought one that sets me up to apply for work almost anywhere and get there in similar time to where I currently work.

I bought one in an area I expected to appreciate nicely and close to everything, 280 is just down the road, Birmingham is just down the road, and going south from where I live is easy. I'm easy going in any direction. Also big yard and quiet good for dogs.

speaking of which I've been at the current place 2 years come January. So around Fall I'm going to start talking to superior about a raise or moving up in the current company. Of course I'm not going to discuss looking elsewhere, but see my opportunities here. He's pretty laid back and doesn't mind talking about progression within the company. He did write on my yearly review I would excel almost anywhere in high stress environments. I was the only one of the 3 others that work in this office that he didn't have one bad mark on. lol

 

I had one too. Got in school suspension for having it back in 94. Today they have cell phones in class. Can I get my ISS day back you think?

Nope but about right with the numbers. Stats below for Bay High School class of 1971. 50th reunion coming up in a few years (lots of good times since then fortunately). We always reserve part of the Spinnaker in Panama City for our reunions which is a cool place (was built by high school friends around that time). Nickel beer night used to be real popular. Spinnaker would close during the winter back in those days and then open for two weeks during Christmas/New Years for all the locals. A lot of the missing are around Panama City and even show up just the stats are not completely accurate.

that's a massive graduating class.

 

I mean I graduated with 532 people and that's small compared to the classes Sparkman High School has now.

 

yeah I had a really small class. our whole school was about 600 people.

bish that was 1994 haha.

Its great. I used to go on my lunch break when I worked at ACE hardware in college. Used to be the filthiest person in there with all the lawn mower debris on me but I didn't care. Its pretty good food.
