    I know...

she's really ruining the ever getting away from a camper shell thing haha!

nah the rack is actually still really useful even not for a tent. I might could get you to build some sort of storage options on it too.

idk I mean she makes a good point that for the money I can sell the RTT for we can get a super nice ground tent with $$$ left over to do other things.

That's a valid point. I can make you storage options. Just let me know what you're after.

Child booster seat, spilled glitter slime, chicken nugget crumbs, spilled milkshake in cupholder, and many more courtesy of daughter.
Trying to remember things off the top of my head, this is roughly what I have:
    Interior:
-Glove box: napkins, garbage bags, flashlight, multitool, lighters
-Center console: spare keys for locks all around the truck, flashlight, knives, multitool, lighters, glasses case, tire guages, batteries, spare phone charger, usb adapter, 30 amp to 15 amp (I think) adapter (for a normal extension cord/power at an RV site), sunglasses
-Door pockets: spare glasses in case, spare coozie, spare makeup pouch for wife, zip ties
-Middle rear seat leg area: Slime portable air compressor
-Under driver/passenger seats: Tire repair kit, small socket kit, jumper cables, small med kit
-Under rear seat storage: Spare tire gear/jack, spare fuses (mini fuses too), small shovel, small axe, dry bags, d-shackle hitch, tow balls, other crap I cant remember
-Behind rear seats: ARB snatch strap, frog togs rain suit, spare pair of warm clothes, boots, random tools, Ammo can full of wrenches/screwdrivers/tapes/etc (tools)
-Swing case #1 (now moved to a pelican case): Camp kitchen stuff; 6,8,10,12" cast iron skillets, pot for boiling water/cooking in (has cups inside), plates, disposable plates, camp silverware set, roll of paper towels, roll of TP, tarp, tent stakes, olive oil, seasonings, camp stove, another single burner stove, lighters, Coleman propane bottles
-Swing case #2: currently has ratchet straps, random nuts/bolts, hammock, hammock straps, bike helmet, bike gloves, two yeti can coozie things, battery/adapter I made for awning LED lights, LED lanterns

I have a ton more crap too, but not remembering it lol

I carry all of the stuff you do, but keep it in my truck box. Along with toiletries, MRE's, spare clothes and boots, 2 gallons of water and trauma FAK. I have a ton of other stuff too, but can't think of them right now.

we don't even know anymore. I mean frankly we didn't know in the beginning, but we assumed about 50 lbs, because that's how big his dad was and mom was like 30 lbs.

well, he's just over 6 months old and 45 lbs. fatass...I'm guessing over 60, probably 65 lbs at this point.

@stronghammer hou should just suck it up and get a GFC. Definitely the best solution for dogs. I think that’ll be the move once I can justify the $5k

Eh. One of mine weighs 65 and the other is 40. We do fine with both of them in the tent.

Granted, my tent sits much lower so it’s easier to get them in. Maybe you just need a shorter rack?
