I'm talking to Blackout14 about a custom rear leaf pack for my truck. We've decided on a pack that will give an initial 2.5" and settle to around 2" in the rear. Do yall think I would need extended shocks or would some regular sized ones work?

You will want extended shocks of some form. The standard extended 5100s (not the b110) would probably be fine.

I ran a single AAL with stock shocks and would max them out at droop. It was not a good sound or feeling.

I thought the B110s were the extended shocks?

Thanks for the pic. Looks like that shock is 2" too short!

They make one for the Tacoma that is for 1.5-2” of lift

The b110s are technically tundra shocks

Oh ok. Blackout14 recommended the B110s with his leaf packs... He said you needed a shock with at least a 10" stroke.

    Gotcha. Sounds about right.

    B110s are 11” stroke

Thanks Trey. I'm just trying to get some real world feedback from my Bama friends here! I'd rather take someone's personal experience than an online review.

Are the B110’s the same as the 5125? I noticed the 5125’s are available in 10” 12” and 14”

I'm wondering this too. I'm slowly dialing in what I want for suspension upgrades, but want to be 100% sure before I actually drop the money. Joe with Crookedangler is in the works for a custom pack for me and I've been reading a lot on Mike Dobinson's setups. I think @tweakit88 can give a review?

5125s are universal application shocks. 5100s are valved to vehicle specifications, which is irrelevant after lifting

And that is snow. Decided a room at rim rock in was appropriate.
