Alabama thread!

Well after cleaning every bit of mud off the driveshaft and put of every wheel i think i may have made it better. Gunna get it up to highway speeds later to see how it feels

 

Hmm. Mine still sounds terrible. Maybe my lube is out of date? Idk. I jacked the truck up and sprayed the uniballs then turned the steering wheel left and right a good number of times, still squeaking for me.

 

take her down the road and back a few times with the lube on. I still highly recommend that CRC spray I shared. I sprayed some of it before we went to Hawk Pride and didn't have a single squeak.

 

I’ll probably end up getting the CRC spray since it’s working for y’all. I guess I should drive it after I spray it, that’s probably the real problem here.

 

I drove the truck to work today, still dirty as all get out....and when turning right I had an awful rattle on the driver side I thought it was my slider rattling but idk because it didn't move when I opened the door and kicked down on it. Only when turning right I would get this rattle that felt like it was just tap tap tapping under my door basically on the frame.

 

that's 99.9% of the problem I'm sure.

 

Yeah, I just never think about spraying it before I go somewhere. I need to. My truck sounds horrible. I’m getting self conscious of all the loud squeaking now. My leaf springs are just as bad too. Lol.

 

I can't help on the leaf springs, that squeak just simply went away for me. Really only was there the first couple of months of having the leafs.

 

I’m using the dropper bottle of tri-flow

 

was the same thing I was using until it congealed in the cold..

 

I’ve got stock leaves. They’re going in the trash in a few weeks.

yep, keep it in an area that maintains a good temp pretty well. I know @rmepilot uses tri-flow as well, I think he has the larger bottle.

 

Keep it stored in the same place as your grease gun!

seriously don't though lol. Idk what temp it says to store it at, but too cold and it definitely congeals. I'm sure it says it on the bottle

 

Mines still dirty, just cleaned the important i need to find out whats causing this bits lol.
