I grew up in the backseat of a minivan, or a 4 door sedan smaller than a Tacoma but with more leg room than a Tacoma.

 

also, kids can be too tall for the backseat before being allowed to work or drive....since that's what you said your response would be if they complained. if your kid gets to that point you just make them or the wife stay home when you go on trips? lol

 

Man, these meetings aren't so bad when the boss man brings food. He brought bagels from Panera. I got one this morning that had cinnamon all over it. Definitely a much better place to work than my last.

 

our morning meeting included 2 people getting ass chewed, so that was entertaining. bagels would've been nice though.

 

That never happens here. Everyone seems to not suck.

 

yes, but you are below AVERAGE in the height category. so considering the AVERAGE (of which I am)….the Tacoma backseat is impractical, and most useless of the Tacoma, T4R, Tundra.

 

scratch that, I am surprisingly above average according to google. it used to be 5'10" I thought, it says 5'9" now

Both of my boys basically grew up in the back seat of my '06 access cab. Now, they won't fit in the back of either one of my access cabs. Kids were ok in the back, but once they hit 10 or 11 years old, it was time to take the wife's car!

 

I would argue all parts of this, actually I'd say your Subaru was the better vehicle for what you've used the truck for, at least that was the case until you got the boat.

honestly my tdi can do almost all things better than the truck, it's only when the weight of the trailer gets a little too heavy I use the truck.

the tacoma is not best at any one things, but it's a good truck.

My father has a 2017 DCSB sport and I've had Jeannie and my mom back there for a drive to Augusta, GA and they didn't complain one bit! So you're right, the boys would fit perfectly, but I don't have a double cab. I don't think I'll ever own one either.

 

Well, I've owned every generation Tacoma ever produced since 95.5. They have all been great looking trucks! My 2nd gen just had a major overhaul of the drivetrain system, so it's ready to rock and roll! New clutch, pedal assembly, master cylinder, rear/front diffs and transfer case fluids flushed and changed.

 

this is to opinionated to build a case for though.

 

No it doesn't. My '06 feels like it has more power than my '18, or better power delivery that is.

 

we're all here touting our tacomas because well, we got suckered into buying them.
