that's honestly all I wanted at this point lol. we already cost them another customer telling someone on Nextdoor not to use them.

these guys literally sucked. I won't say I'm unhappy with the work, but I'm not 100% happy in the end still...and the process sucked so much ass that they will never get a good comment from me about them.

I talked to him a while ago and he said his Dad didn't want to take the boat out. So he's going down next weekend. Rain this weekend might allow us to go out Snapper fishing next. :notsure:

I found it on this list: https://coolofthewild.com/best-pop-up-tents/

2 issues for me personally, can't stand up in it...and the windows roll up from the outside only.

Wife and I use a Mountain Hardware tent. We've been using it for 5 years now and it's awesome! It's a backpacking tent and you can't stand in it. I guess the standing tents are more for car camping.

I don't believe any of their tents are instant tents.

I don't want a setup process that takes much more than 1 minute lol.

Yea i was looking at the specs, being able to stand is kinda a deal breaker. Also, turns out thats one of the reason my buddy is trying to get rid of it. He was gonna let me have it for $175 but if I buy a tent, I really dont want to have to squat the whole time Im in it

negative. they make instant tents with just as much of the reward, no sense in having a pain in the ass setup.

@stronghammer why not look into some of the awning room type of setups. You already have a tall as crap bed rack to mount an awning to. Zip some walls on and call it a day! Besides being probably the most expensive route other than RTT, it seems to be my next favorite option so far. Basically sleeping in a bigger version of your RTT annex.

My wife can setup our tent in like 3 minutes or less. A 3 person tent, weighs 4lbs and it can fit in a backpack!

We’ve used a MSR Elixer 3 for about 3 years. We’ve been happy with it. I like the dual doors and dual vestibules on it. You can keep your gear outside the tent and put a queen size air mattress in it if car camping. If backpacking then the single air mattresses fit fine and give you a little more room inside it. Still not going to be able to stand up in any backpacking text though.
