Thanks, brother, I appreciate the shout out. The tires sold this morning in a cash/trade kind of way. Rays are still sitting here but I am now the owner of some additional cash and a brand new Yeti Tank 45. I had no idea what that thing even was but it is mine now and was about to go on Facebook for sale, but I’m getting kind of attached to it, and might unload one of my other coolers and keep this bucket looking thingy....lol. This is one of those many why didn’t I think of that ideas....

Decided to repaint my front bumper. When I took it off, I found this.



Both side have cracked through. I’m thinking it has to be from putting in the Energy Suspension radiator support bushing and flipping them to raise the front a little extra. You can see the bushing in the 3rd picture and the larger 1 is probably a 1/4 - 3/8’s fatter than the one that is supposed to be there but is now on the bottom.

 

Damn it man. I think @EatSleepTacos had the same issue. I believe he welded the cracks and reinforced the other side of the crack. I could be wrong on that tjo

@TacoAlaMode thank you for the advice on how to replace my needle bearing. I got it done today, set up to clean up was about 5 hours. Probably a lot longer than you take to do it, but it’s done. Now I just need to test drive it. Hopefully everything works.

 

No problem, glad it helped. Quick question for you though. Did you find the piece that broke out of the rim of the needle bearing?

Edit: I see it on the magnet at the bottom of the picture.

 

Yes, it’s on the tip of the magnet in the 3rd picture.
