looks a lot less rocky from what I'm used to.

 

What you lack in rocks, is made up with steep grades at Oak Mt! lol

 

the videos don't do it much justice, as I'm sure it's the same with the Oak Mtn. videos....but we are in fact on the side of a mountain at Monte Sano. It's just steep grades all around. I ride my brakes A LOT so the downhills don't look very fast.

 

Check out the bump trail, or blood rock. Most of the trails are pretty intermediate, but I haven't rode a bike there in over 20 years. Either way, you'll have fun at Oak Mt.

 

here @InfernoChalupa since you thought the trails were so wide open. don't let Wes lead you when biking unless you also know where he is going.

It all depends on who you ride with. You can go for a fun little group ride and sometimes, you'll ride with a group that wants to race the whole trail! Trust me, I've been left behind at Oak Mt. when I went there! lol

yeah there won't be any racing on my end. I just want smoother trails, with a bit more flow, options to go fast if you so choose but can still maintain yourself slower down the trail. From all the Oak Mtn videos I've seen...that seems to be the place to go.

 

So we did a thing yesterday when we went to get a oil change in the runner.

 

so you went in for an oil change and came out with a new runner?!

 

And payments. They were nice enough to waive the charge for the oil change on the 05.
