    so previous coworker got word....from chatter at the Toyota plant they are doing work at...

    that Toyota might be bringing the FJ Cruiser back.

    we shall see. I'm still waiting on actual confirmation of what they're building at the Toyota/Mazda plant with the "unnamed SUV". Maybe it's the new FJ, maybe its the adventure Rav4. who knows?

    I've saw rumor sites talking about it. It will probably be more than a 4runner though sadly.

    I hate the old ones door design and interior, also it has to at least get 22mpg stock.

    I liked the interior, and I think the people that purchased it did too.

    lol at the 22mpg, why? you sound like the kinda person that buys a Tacoma for mpg...

    It automatically disconnects the batteries when they drop to 13.7 volts from what I understand. I just hit the switch to split them when I shut it off.

    my tacoma got 23 mpg stock, that's respectable. My mom gets 21-23 consistently with her 4x4 off road as well.

    also, you don't buy a tacoma for mpg, but it should be at least comparable or a little better than any 1/2 ton V8, and it's not when you look at GM, RAM, and Ford.
