you made 3 different incorrect comments about why I have my 4runner, those were ridiculous lol.

you also said that you can find a 2k vehicle with low miles in good condition lol

Well, not literally pay for itself! lol I fill up once every or 5 or 6 days and average cost of $45 per fillup. That's 6 fillups a month at $270 fuels costs, plus weekend trips, I'll round it off to $300. Times 12, would be around $3600 in fuel costs a year to drive my Taco. That $3600 could buy me a decently used dual sport bike and I could ride that instead.

I bought a $370 corolla, put a $300 engine in it in my driveway. If i figure out how much gas would of cost me driving my truck to work everyday over the last 10 months ive been driving the car, it has paid for itself and made me $400 richer. May not make me millions but it has made me money ;):D:p

just because you think I care about gas mileage doesn't mean I do.

again, as I have said, if something seems alarming like a 4cyl getting 10mpg then I do care.

and again, as I have said, if you give me 2 identical vehicles but say one gets 2mpg better, I'll choose that one...because I'm not an idiot, not because gas mileage matters.

    if gas mileage mattered, I wouldn't own a Tacoma and a 4Runner.

you have the knowhow to put an engine in, you are an anomaly.

and the car in fact has not paid for itself. the savings that you have gotten driving that instead of the truck, is what paid for the car. not the car itself.

I do carpool with Amy, also in a 4runner.

Doesn't mean we care about gas mileage. That's mainly because she hates driving so I do the driving.

I said my comment was ridiculous. The one about the corolla making millions that you quoted saying I was "scottying".

A dual sport will have a 4-6 gallon tank and get anywhere between 40-60 MPG. So basically, I could put 6 gallons of gas in my bike a week and get by to and from work, which would cost me about $15 a week in fuel. Damn, I need to pick up a bike soon, so it can start paying for itself...:blahblah:
