Fresh meat! We haven't had anyone do any real modifications lately to a truck. Sounds like a good reason to have a meet. There are a few areas around, Dave posted a nice list of places in this thread http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/south-east/274419-places-wheel-alabama.html

I'm really fighting hard not to put a Demello 3 hoop on the truck. I like the way the undercover looks on a truck, but I think I'll be looking for the extra clearance of an offroad bumper.

Got a pic of the bullbar?

Hey Brian, did we ever determine if a 2nd gen bullbar can be modded easily to fit a 1st gen?

Zombie Apocalypse! Need to keep the headlights shining when that happens! Currently it is mainly just an appearance thing. I think those look the meanest of them all. The flat top just looks too plain, the single hoop is just to familiar. Not to say when it comes right down to it, I might end up with any one of them. It will be this winter before I even start seriously looking at them.

This is why I want a dedicated offroad vehicle... I wanted a 3-hoop, but it seemed a little ridiculous on a DD, rolling up the office "hey guys, any live animals you need mowed down? Cuz I'm ready, you know, if you need that."

Wow, yeah, looks good in the pics too. It's a more dramatic change in person, but it looks loads better. My main concern was just getting the paint protected with good sealant and wax so that it doesn't deteriorate any further. It looks loads better though, which is always nice. Now I need to sand the bedliner on the wheel wells and trim, get it primed properly, re-spray it, and it'll be all good to go.

So is this get together on the 11th still happening? I haven't heard any talk about it. I know the guy from out-of-state was coming in.
