I think if Bama does get beat in the regular season by Auburn or LSU, they will be ruled out, since their strength of schedule was so weak. They will especially be ruled out if they get upset by one of the no-name teams they play this season.

 

exactly, a 1 loss bama has NEVER been excluded, and even been given priority over more deserving teams because of legacy.

 

I think that's just simply wrong, see my previous comment. They've NEVER been excluded and they've had equally bad SOSs. Their SEC West counterparts are only stronger this year, so if they lose to one of them close, they'll still be in.

We'll see! We're all just speculating right now. After the round of games this weekend, we'll have a better picture of it all.

 

Oklahoma has NO defense! They can score, but it's still not enough to beat ANY of the best 3 SEC teams.

 

eh...they have the "shootout experience" factor. they're used to that type of game....LSU isn't and that's gonna hurt...

This is the only thing about the high power offenses like OK that make them dangerous against some of us coming out of the SEC. The SEC has ALWAYS been about their stout defenses and thats just not the case this year. So OK or OSU against one of the SEC studs will be very interesting. If it goes to a shootout, I don't give any SEC team the nod strictly from an experience factor!

Auburn has a big game against Florida this weekend and we better win! It's basically gonna be the best game this weekend, nobody worth a flip is playing anyone worth a flip, well, except for Auburn that is!

He's a talented kid for sure! Clemson's Lawrence and LSU's Burrow are great quarterbacks too. I also think Nix has the potential to be something big at Auburn as well!

Tua and Jalen are two of the best overall people to come through college football in recent time.

 

I wouldn’t be able to watch the game. I am definitely pulling hard for Jalen this year and would hate to see OK play UA, it would be weird for me.

I would love to see Jalen win the heisman this year though.

he's worse than Joe Burrow in every stat except INTs (both not actually Burrow's fault), and they tie in TDs. just sayin'. and if you look at the numbers of the opponents Burrow has done it against more quality opponents.

Not taking anything away from Tua, but the "experts" and seemingly all the fans go crazy over Tua, when he is being outperformed.
