I think Burrows isn't getting the love because his success is new. He was trash last year compared to this year so it could be they are looking at his success as an early in the year fluke. Not digging against him at all just strictly speculation.

 

Had this discussion with someone else the other day. There’s actually a couple of stats tha tua has over burrow

 

You alos have to keep in mind tua usually only plays until mid 3rd quarter too

 

Burrow is also only on 3 quarters y’all. Cmon now. And tuna now has 1 game up on him. You are clearly not reading all the stats correctly

 

IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW LONG YOU ARE ON THE FIELD IF YOU THROW THE SAME AMOUNT OF PASSES.

 

Im sorry i dont watch LSU so i didnt know that they had only played 4 games. Idk about reading the stats wrong though

 

You have to read the stats like total passes, yards per pass, etc. not the overall totals because sometimes that doesn’t tell the story. 1 guy that gets a 100yrd bomb for a td is not necessarily better than a guy that throws 10/10 for 10 yard completions and a td.

 

But if you’re on the field longer, then you’ll throw more passes!

If burrow throws 20 passes in 4 quarters and tuna throws 20 passes in 3 quarters, it’s the same.

 

But I’m saying the field time does not matter in some cases.

 

I’m not knocking Tua. He’s great too. But everyone cock gobbles him when he’s not even the best in the country. Then they use insignificant stats because he plays inferior teams, and it makes no sense. I don’t know if Joe will continue, like Allen said it’s super early and we don’t know what will happen with this new success. But he is currently better than Tua. That’s just a fact based on this years stats and resume.

 

I’m saying if Tua played the same opponents as the others he wouldn’t get 20 in the first half, you can’t base it on throws per second, it’s throws per game.

Correct but if joe throws 20 passes in 4 quarters for 4 games and tua throws 20 passes for 3 quarters for 5 games it is not the same.
