Bro that like saying Patrick Mahomes is better than Tom Brady because his stats are slightly better this season. Go back and look at his stats from previous seasons they are not good. Tua however has sustained success.

I don't see any quarterback out there right now, that's better than Tua, and I'm not even an Alabama fan. He's thrown more TD passes this season and though not the highest passing yardage, he's a better all around quarterback IMO.

this is sorted by yards/game by default, but both Joe Burrow and Jalen Hurts have higher QBRs than Tua.

attempts per game Joe is at 31, and Tua is at 29.6, negligible difference. Joe is at 12.3 yards/attempt and Tua is at 11.6. Tua was at 17TDs after 4 games, which matches Joes 17 for 4 games. Joe beats him in completion percentage and is the best in the country at that.

Yall are arguing 2 different things. Tua is the better qb overall while Burrow is better at the moment.

I agree. Tua is the best QB in college ball right now.

You also have to consider who they are throwing to.

Tua arguably has the best receiving corps in the nation, I think by a long shot.

So lets all go out, I'm going to throw passes to OBJ for a while and you all throw passes to Helen Keller.

I'll clearly be the better QB than you all.

I will take this a step further and this is by no means just the bammer in me. I believe Tua has the best OVERALL receiving core that there has ever been in college football. I mean when you have 3 and sometimes 4 receivers playing paper rock scissors just to run certain routes, that lets you know just how good and interchangeable they all are. I honestly can't think of a team that had this much talent outside the "ends"

I 100% agree, it's not even fair lol.

But nobody takes that into account for Tua's stats.

That still doesn't take anything away from Tua being the best QB in college right now.

    Good grief!

So you're saying that a QB is only as good as his recievers?

100% that's a fact. if his receivers aren't catching the ball, then how do his stats look?

Joe Burrito is a great QB indeed, but you're biased there, being an LSU fan.

I'll agree to disagree on this statement. A QB does more than just throw complete passes. He's a leader, he makes the right calls, he reacts well when the pocket collapses and he make accurate throws. Tua is the best all around QB I've seen in many years.

    YES THEY DO LOL

if y'all seriously think receivers don't have an impact on how a QB is/looks/does then it's not even worth having this discussion...
