Do you get flashed by oncoming traffic with those fogs, or are they SAE?

 

I’ve got them aimed a little low and don’t run them very often. When I do I might get flashed 1 out of every 30 or 40 cars. Usually a low sports car of some sort.

The best lighting upgrade I did was putting my headlights on stand alone relays so they get 13+ volts. Also running some European +130 bulbs. Huge difference over stock.

 

I've been reading through crashnburn's thread and have a learned a ton on lighting! I want to get some fog upgrades and have pretty much narrowed it down to BD SAEs or KC Gravity's, which both get excellent reviews here. Now, to determine amber or white!

 

Go with BD. You can change the lens pattern/color really easy.

The BD “amber” is really more yellow. It doesn’t cut the fog or dust anywhere near as good as my rigid 10” bar with the amber filter on it.

 

I'm leaning more towards white to get better lighting overall. The stock fogs are ok at best and just looking for brighter and wider. It's nice you can change out the lens on the BDs.

 

If the BD SAE fogs had been out when I got mine I would have gone that route. I’ll probably end up selling my squadron sports for the SAEs closer to Black Friday. Also need to pick up some S2s for my A pillars.

Dang its quite in here this morning. Everyone must be working hard on Thursday to take off on Friday.

 

Every day is Saturday right now for me.

 

Well it's my Friday! Off tomorrow to pack up and settle things at the house, and then off to Disney with the fam!

I'm jealous! We are on a quest to find a place to drive my truck on the beach somewhere and set up camp.

 

Remember that shot of my truck on the beach in Destin? I've seen folks camp there overnight, we might just do that next time. I heard there was one spot you could drive on, down in Gulf Shores somewhere.
