A Jeep, something different. Newer, lower miles, nicer, more luxury.

Rubicons with 4.10 gears are special order after 2013....3.73 is standard. Good luck finding a 4.10 Rubicon for reasonable priced and not to mention reasonably local

A little too nippy too quickly! Better than the never ending 98° swamp butt weather though. Looking ahead...

    From AlabamaWX

Look for sunshine in full supply today with a high in the mid 50s. Tonight will feature another freeze for about the northern half of the state, with widespread frosty likely by early tomorrow morning with a clear sky and light wind.

THE ALABAMA WEEKEND: Dry air stays in place with sunny cool days and clear cold nights. Highs will be in the 59-62 degree range, and there low Sunday morning will be in the 30s.

NEXT WEEK: Quiet and mostly dry weather continues. A cold front late in the week might bring a few showers Thursday night, but there won’t be much moisture to work with. Highs will be close to 70 by mid-week. See the Weather Xtreme video for maps, graphics, and more details
    [IMG]

TIME CHANGE: Don’t forget we go back on standard time this weekend; set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed tomorrow night. The sunset Sunday at Birmingham will be at 4:53p CST.

ON THIS DATE IN 1870: United States Army Signal Corps observers at 24 sites around the country simultaneously made weather reports and transmitted them to Washington, where a national weather map would be drawn. This started the process of sending out weather reports by telegraph to metropolitan newspapers. This would be the beginning of our present-day National Weather Service.

I know their price is stupid, Mostly mall crawler Demand.

but front and rear lockers and a 4:1 transfer case is probably worth it if you can justify it.

The one you found definitely looks like a good one either way!

3.73 gears is what I had in my T4R and ran 285/65s with no problem and I have zero plans to go above 33s on the Jeep so they will suffice. Not to mention when I do get it off the pavement I won't be hardcore wheeling anyway (my history proves that) but it will at least be capable

I’m so glad you have signed yourself up to catch the most crap anytime you go off-road with anyone haha. Even if you succeed in everything you do. I’m stoked to take a good look at it when you get it.

Haha talk doesn't bother me really. Until the people that talk start making my payments it just goes in one ear and out the other. LOL. Also, not to mention I haven't been very active on here much recently anyway so out of sight out of mind. Now I just have to find a decent jeep forum that has the least amount of BS:fingerscrossed:

The differential gear ratios are a small part of the Rubicon package. The rubicon’s transfer case has a 4:1 low range gear ratio, which produces an 84:1 crawl ratio in first gear. All other jeeps have a 2.7(ish):1 low range gear in the transfer case (similar to the Tacoma’s 2:57:1 low range). In the Tacoma this produces a final crawl ratio of 39.9:1 (half that of the rubicon, which is why Toyota guys add second transfer cases.

The lockers are another huge bonus.

That being said, since you aren’t planning on rock crawling, all of this information is irrelevant to you....haha.

I’m sure down the road you could find Locked D44s and the transfer case from a rubicon And swap them in if you wanted.

Go get that good looking Jeep (Perfect color choice) and enjoy these upcoming fall days topless!

@Leman I believe you're the most recent Jeep owner on here. Any recommendations for decent jeep forums?
