If you are going to be in Selma, then you will be only 30 minutes from my shop! I am in Marion, just down the highway. Extended brake lines wouldn't be a bad idea.

Insured under my name with my mom as the owner on the policy. Or I can say it has a lien on it and put her as the lien holder on the policy. It's simple.

 

Be careful doing that. The insurance company typically goes by the name on the title if it gets a claim.

He is saying that the 1st gen Tacoma has a brake proportioning valve that is mechanically actuated based on vehicle height. Lifting the truck with larger lift leaf springs changes the positioning of the valve, hence changing the proportioning to the rear brakes. There is an adapter sold by a couple of the vendors here that relocate the actuator rod back to proper position.

 

Ok. Trucks totaled, mom gets check, I get new truck! Lol.
