The initial push came from the air tank however the bead had to be persuaded into place to actually seal. Same outcome as with ether, just safer IMO.

 

I had always thought about getting a tank, but wasn't sure if it held enough air to inflate all 4 of my tires.

 

@Brian422 you interested in these back seat covers I have? If not, I'm gonna do a giveaway here. They are brand new still in the plastic and grey in color. Cordura nylon, tough stuff!

The tank isn’t really meant to be able to inflate all 4 tires. It’s really meant for large air volume delivery over short spurts such as seating beads or an air impact. Mine will give me enough air to run my impact at 100% for about 9 seconds which is enough to work with.

 

Oh ok, that makes sense. You carry air tools with you on the trail? I keep an impact in my truck box, but it is only limited to battery life. I guess with air, you have unlimited use!

 

I only have one air impact at the moment so I pack it when trail riding. Whenever I get a nicer one for the house the old one will live in the truck full time.

 

How big is your air tank? I don't have any air tools, but plan to pick up some basic ones soon, to help when I change out my leaf packs and strut assemblies. I've never had any problems with my impacts either, with 2 extra batteries, I haven't run out of juice yet!

This one belongs to a friend of mine in Canton Georgia, Jerald Roger's. Has a V6, rear steer, 4 doors and just about anything you can put on one.

Lol you gotta have more than one. Jerald builds and sells them. He stretches a lot of them, the black one is stretched 18 inches and the blue one 24 inches
he drives the black one when we go offroading. It's a Vortex V6 too with Scout axles
