I’d try it out Sunday but would definitely have to be non destructive trails. One day might consider one of those pelican metallic skins and then won’t care about pin stripes :)

Doubt my truck could but I could be wrong. No sliders and would have to remove side steps for a ride there. My little truck still stock mostly. For now anyway.

I climbed in my 2nd gen, that's basically stock. No skids or sliders on that truck. The 2nd gen has better approach angle than 3rd gen.

Possibly. But I watched a recent video of hat happened to your truck too! Definitely don’t want that :)

I can honestly say there’s no way I’ll go down that hill :)

It's not that bad really. My mistake was not walking it first, then I woulda seen the big hole in the middle of the trail.

I’d have definitely walked it. Soon as I walked it, would have definitely walked to my truck then definitely put it in reverse :). I don’t have a spare truck so can’t risk rolling it over. While truck is still needed for truck things it’s just not worth major risk like that for me at this time. One day just not now. Also don’t have near the experience as ones who drive those trails.

I'm pretty much down to ride anywhere any time. Offroading has always been in my blood, and always will be. Started with dirtbikes, 3-wheelers, and trucks since I could drive. Anytime we can get off the beaten path, is a good time in my book! So when's the next TNF ride? I'd surely be down for another Little River ride and then a hike down to Martha's Falls below Little River Falls!

I’d gladly go to off road parks but wouldn’t be attempting things that many others would. I’d be much more comfortable with a small lift and better tires but even more important some underbody protection.

I’m purchasing the twins when they’re released and then I’ll do small lift to clear a slightly larger as well as slightly more aggressive tire. The stock good years will likely struggle to keep up.

A 4x4 Tacoma is very capable in stock form, most people won't ever know it though. Just watch your approach/departure angles. I've gotten most trail damage on my rear bumper.

I agree that they can do a lot. More ground clearance is just a small added sense of security.

I might try to tag along to meet a few guys. 2.5 hours isnt too bad. Would I be alright without sliders? I have a RAT front skid but no skid row as well as front and rear bumpers. 2.5" lift 32" tires 04 DC.

Supposing it only needs the compressor clutch bearing, I can replace it for you for $100 labor plus the cost of the part. I'm Toyota Master Tech located in Birmingham.
