Plus it would take about 5 (or more) harbor freight ones going bad before a good one could even start to be justified lol.

It's gonna be for when I change my suspension out at the end of the year, lug nuts and stuff like that.

I was kidding. For the most part....

I always torque suspension components and wheels.

Make sure you torque your leaf spring Shackle bolts to 85ftlbs or better. Dont put them at what toyota says. I have mine ay 100ftlbs. Never came loose. I know 2 people that put them at the 38 or whatever crap toyota says and they came loose.

Asked my dad a few months back if he had a torque wrench I could borrow. With a confused look on his face, he says for what?? Told him I had a few things I was planning to do as far as truck maintenance. With a smirk, he proceeds I've been doing mechanic work for blah blah amount of years, and my favorite torque wrench is right up here (pointing to his brain). You wanna get it snug, and then tighten her up just a little more. If you're having to guess if one more time is gonna strip it out, you're already past where you need to be.

link? I don't keep up with any of the football threads. And will be 100% lost if its a pro team discussion lol. I watch enough college football to make an opinion, but not enough to give a history lesson or dispute stats lol.

Yeah, after changing my rotors and pads out, I've noticed my lug nuts are starting to get worn on the edges and a few of them are just chewed up. I'll pick up some new lug nuts soon, but I want a torque wrench, so I don't have to "guess" if it's tight enough.

I have the Tekton. Its been great for the price and quality made tool. There are many rave reviews of it on youtube. Toqued just about every bolt on my truck with it and non have come off.

I have been eyeing that one. My HF one bit the dust and I need to pick up a new one. That one isn’t much more expensive
