Only thing they recommend that I know of is new recoil spring, I put a new one in said 300$ 30 went with stainless rod rather than plastic.

i completely agree with this... I have a couple myself just not my go to guns for much of anything other than reliability. But my smiths are as equally good and way more comfortable.

Really that poly judge is light and short barrel that .410 with those winchester pdx would be a great car gun, kinda thought about it for my wifes car

Never shot a judge before. How is the recoil with the .410 shell? With the .45 LC round?

The Judge is a awesome gun. My EDC concealed is S&W 9 and not concealed would be a springfield xd2. Always have my Walther in my truck at all times, beat the hell out of it and still going strong. My fun to shoot is my Smith 357 or (not a pistol) i have 22-250 i had built several years ago and it is a aboslute dream to shoot long range.

My wife carries an LCP or a G43 and she likes them both! I just carry a little pea shooter derringer most of the time, in a leather slip, in my pocket.

I wouldn't recommend a poly judge loaded with PDX for your wife's car. I have one in the dresser that I keep loaded with PDX but it packs a whallop. It is definitely not a range toy.

.410 bird shot is not that bad. The defense rounds are not fun to shoot. 45 LC is better but not fun either. But honestly it doesn't make sense to load it in a Judge. Just get .410 slugs. They're faster heavier and cheaper.
Full disclaimer though. I am not very recoil sensitive.

I dont have the budget because i dont want a pistol more than that cost, its because i literally am only going to have that much i can put towards one lol. So nobody is going to push me outside it lol. I may be able to reach 300 but it wont be easy lol.

I liked it because it was small, single stack that i could have inside my belt and it wad still comfy. It held well in my hand and felt very balanced and controlable. If money was no issue i would get it no questions asked lol.

I do like the subcompact, and im sure one day ill step into one lol. Ive been really looking at the sccy 9mm. Ive held one but never shot it. Its a 10 round and it holds very nicly(not as nice as the sig but nice). Its comfortable but not sure how it feels to shoot. Also it has a manual safty option which is important to me. It can be had for just under 300, but again would have to find room in the budget for it.
