I get it, trust me, it’s why I’m still here. I get the positives and negatives to it all. But when the “homebase” of the forum sucks so much ass it makes it not fun. I’ve had 4 people talk to me about can we make another Alabama thread without certain people

100% of the reason I hardly post in here or rarely anymore is the Facebook group type chatter that this thread has turned into. It doesnt even have to do with me being a Jeeper. The same reason everyone was on here instead of the Facebook group is exactly why this thread sucks. The only thing this thread is missing is people adding copious amounts of stickers that say "Overlander", "Yeti" and "Salt Life". The bro life isn't for me and many others....especially the high school style bro crap that this thread has become. I've said it before...im the longest tenured person here by a decent amount so I have seen the highs and lows of this thread but I've always stuck around. The way this thread has turned the past few months...I don't care to come back to it again. Luckily, the ones that i like and have become friends with I have their personal contact info and this isn't the only means of conversating with them. But unfortunately the everyday "fun" that the Bama thread used to be is no more. Sad day for Bama TWer's but it is what it is.

If I'm not busy I will ride with you any where you want to ride. We have all heard all the same questions several times and I'm sure we have all ask them at some point in time. Ask anything you want to know that is the only way to learn. Most everyone on here will try to help you and there will be some that try to help that don't really know what they are talking about. You will just have to use your better judgement, lol. I am in no way the most knowledgeable on here but I have learned from a lot of misstates, lol. If I can help I will and once the mods start they never stop.

I guess I just don't feel the same way, I have always had fun on here and all the other threads too. I have and never will understand censoring anything. I want to be where the old and new are all in the same place. I don't feel like anyone has the right to censor and try to make anyone feel unwanted.
To me it does not matter how long you have been here it is for everyone. talk to who ever you want to talk to and ignore the ones you don't. I don't care if I like you or if you like me it is not going to make me stop coming here to talk to the people I want to talk to.

    Live and let live :headbang:

Those pictures were taken on a ride with the Tennessee guys, they are crazy so I just follow them. I promise if you don't want to ride like that I wont. If you don't want to go where your truck will get scratches I understand and will not take you there. I have been on several rides that were just back roads and I had a great time. So if you want to ride we will ride the way you want to ride.

Just notice how multiple people are calling out the same individual(s) and the mentality but they won’t address it or respond to it. They think they’re doing nothing wrong and not being annoying at all. They only respond to your comments because you aren’t calling them out lol

Man what a read to catch back up, I had noticed people kinda went silent. Hope nothing I said contributed never met anybody but Brian to sell some superbumps seemed like a nice guy I could hang with. I like building my truck up just cause that's enjoyable to me, hopefully can get out and do a lil bit on some of the trails. Hard to find time really, @baldridge introduced me to the thread and I appreciated it.

I appreciate you lending out your ECGS tool, I'm sure that thing has done the needle bearing in many Bama trucks!

Lol, I'm not getting into these group battles, I enjoy all the people in here and I don't ever pick one side of a dispute unless I am the one disputing, lol.
I personally think everyone needs to learn to get along with each other, life is too short to not enjoy everything and everybody. People are always going to disagree and get feelings hurt but no one is perfect even if they think they are. I always try to see every bodies view and if I don't agree with it I move on. There is good and bad in everyone and I will always try to find the good.

You’re good man. It should be pretty obvious at this point. I hate always having to be the ass but this was once a fun home thread and now it’s not to most so I wanted to point that shit out. Seems like nothing will change though so most of us will just stay away and leave this to be another Facebook page.
