@cubie I was mistaken on the frame rate. It was 30fps not 60. Its highest frame rate is 30

Oh hell I don't know what I was thinking more positive caster on the UCAs moves the tire back not forward

    Alignment should fix it

Out of alignment shop and rubbing so bad it’s unreal. Probably gonna swap UCAs back to factory because this is insane. Can’t even turn the truck hardly.

Did they give you a print out of the alignment?
Did they align it to factory specs or put as much positive caster as possible?

Something is wrong if you're still rubbing that bad after alignment. That's very odd. Everything was assembled correctly I assume?

My alignment data after it was done. Post up pics of yours.

If we could see his alignment print out, it would tell us a story! I hate this happened after all the work he put into changing them out. I am wanting to go with the STD Hi Caster JBA controls arms as well, when time comes.

Those numbers look within spec to me. Is there a part number on your UCAs? I'd get with JBA, they have great customer service.

I’m contacting them today. Something ain’t right. I have about 1-1/2” of space between wheel and fender when truck sitting still and tires straight. I had over 2-1/2” before new UCAs. Truck shakes bad and sounds like it’s about to rip something off my truck turning hard left. Does same but slower when turning right.

The alignment shop probably rotated the wheel back.

Watch this video to see how to set max caster. Set max caster by rotating the wheel forward, then adjust toe and camber into spec. That's what moves the tire forward as far as possible. I've had shops screw up mine before by just looking at the screen, not used to making clearance for bigger tires.

    Here’s what jba says.

    Brandon,
I am Sorry, I do not know where you got this idea (was supposed to help push the tire forward to fit a larger tire on my Tacoma) We do not state that claim on our website!

To achieve High Caster, the upper ball joint is moved back toward the cabin, the alignment tech moves the lower ball joint forward. The caster should be set between 3.0 to 4.5 degrees.

What a good front end alignment will do for your vehicle. The toe and camber set properly to the factory spec will reduce tire wear.
Caster set properly will give your vehicle stability at high speeds and return your steering wheel to center when you go around a corner.

If you have tire rubbing when the alignment is set properly you will need to do some trimming.

Changing the alignment to eliminate tire rubbing will reduce the performance and handling of the vehicle. Having a vehicle that handles well eliminates driving fatigue and make for a more enjoyable time on the road with friends and family.

    He is correct,
The alignment should have pushed the lower control arm forward which would push the tire forward.
Check to make sure you have the correct UCAs

Sounds like they tried to set the alignment close to factory specs. 3 degrees caster should be easy to achieve with aftermarket UCAs.
