    I’m not arguing that point. I have to run spacers to get my tires off the UCA (same wheel setup you are running). You and I both had to cut more running the spacers than someone with an aftermarket wheel that doesn’t stick out as far.

    but if the issue is the cab mount, the spacers make it worse not better.

    I just hope @newdles gets this fixed so he can have piece of mind. I hate situations like this. Makes me in a pissed off mood.

    Look at where the ball joint on your factory UCA is located and then look at it on an aftermarket one. On the aftermarket one, it's further back if you compare them side by side. When you go to attach the spindle back to the UCA ball joint, the spindle is going to more angled backwards. Alignment tech will rotate your lower control arm forward to match new angle of your spindle. I've watched them do alignments on my truck many times before and seen the tire move forward or backwards, depending on how they adjust your lower control arm.

    Poor @newdles, I know this has got to be frustrating, considering many have run this exact setup, UCAs/285s/SCS wheels without any problems.

    @newdles

    I'd go to Hoover like Brian suggested, or if he really wants to make the drive, come to Sunny King. I've seen them align a truck with aftermarket UCAs and 33" mud tires. No rubbing afterwards. His was a 3rd gen as well.

    Hoover will be closer. Sunny King would be another 1.5 hour drive on top of that. When I get UCAs and 33" tires, I would have confidence taking it to Sunny King. Be sure to tell them that you want at least 3-4 degrees of caster.

    Do you run aftermarket UCAs? I know Scott Crump is closer to newdles than Hoover or Anniston. Trying to help this guy out!

    At Firestone in Hoover now across from Krispy Kreme. Is this the one that you said would be good? Reason I ask is talking to the tech he’s not sure.

    Don’t give up on the JBA UCAs. They are not the issue. They will be the solution once you can get a proper alignment. Tell them what numbers you want and don’t leave until you get it.

    gotcha. Dr. Carr did my surgery when I had my jaw relocated

    negative, that’s a different one. Near the corner of 119 and 31. About a minute from 4wp.

    the location it irrelevant as long as you get a compitent tech.
