    @JBTacoma i need help diagnosing my smitty built winch issue. Winch is getting no power. @tweakit88 and I worked on it for a bit yesterday and opened up the control box to find a couple of corroded leads. Cleaned them and still nothing. I think the solenoid May be the issue. From what I’ve read it seems to be a common issue with them.

    Since you had corroded wires in the control box I would remove all the wires coming from the battery to the winch and clean them. A lot of people have problems with the wire corroding where they connect to the winch, especially the ground cable.
