I don't think that's it, the tire only "floats" over the edge of the concrete, it didn't drop off.

Yes, maybe the concrete is just higher in that spot that the other 3 tires pushing up on that tire, there appears to be a release for sure.

yeah I think it's just dumb timing that it happened at that spot in the driveway lol. the "jerk" of the tire is just too perfectly timed with the sound for me to think it's the concrete.

like I said, this normally happens at very first rotation...I don't make it back that far in the driveway. if I get it on video again I'll show you. was planning to drive 4runner tomorrow to see if I can capture the issues it's having though.

Watch the line in the concrete and the front of the truck it jerks to the right at the same time it pops, you can use the line to see how far it moves

Yeah it’s some movement, I’m just saying I don’t think the concrete is causing the movement.

Me either, I think there is just enough wave or high point in the concrete to put enough pressure on that tire to make what ever is in a bind to release.

I’ll try and get it to occur again tomorrow, even if I don’t drive it to work. It doesn’t always occur at that spot.

I don't think it is a certain spot, I think it is happening when enough pressure is applied to make it release, that tire is articulating because of the uneven surface on all 4 tires.

that’s what I thought, wouldn’t have cared if the shop would have told me. Seems kinda shady to do it and not say anything.

do you also use a block of wood? I figured a regular floor jack wouldn’t have enough range to lift your truck up given the lift and 35’s.

Depends on where you lift. I can pick it up by the skid plate to get a jack stand under and the tire just off the ground. Then I was just using the jack to lift the lower control arm to check the ball joint

It’s not when I go reverse to drive, that’s usually the brakes “seating” and that happens daily every time you swap between reverse or drive. This is only in reverse and only when I first take off in the morning. Checked the brakes and all yesterday everything is good.

In the video the tire appears to drop at first so it seems to be something holding it up. If it was me I would remove the tire, use a jack to raise the lower control arm to the height it is when the tire is on it and sitting on the ground. Leave it over night and the next morning lower the jack as slow as possible and see if it pops. That would be the easiest way to find it if it is in a control arm or ball joint

Yeah I’m used to that sound. Other than getting it out of park I’m not hitting the brakes in the video.

The video I showed you of my sway bar only happened in the morning too. You don't have a sway bar but you do have other bushings just like the sway bar bushings in the control arms.

@cubie Is that not the same sound you had when we put your lift on?
