I think the biggest difference is the bedside height? meaning it'll sit over top of your cab.

I used to work for them, for 11 years actually. They don't take weight into concern at all when building a bumper. It's all about looks/aesthetics and how it will hold the winch, lights, and get side rails or other parts to attach to it. This came up when they made the new Tundra bumper back in 2007/2008 and it weighed about 280LBS by itself. Adding a winch with steel cable and you were pushing 400LBS. So the bumper listing said "this bumper requires a heavy duty suspension upgrade". LOL. Then they made the Ford F350 about 4-5 years ago, and it's over 300LBS. No consideration for weight at all.

The guy that designed the 1st gens left there a long time ago. He had some slick designs back with the early models, no doubt. They were also a lot closer to the grille, but the newer ones stick out way far and don't look good from a side profile since they're reducing the approach angle.

 

I think Demello Offroad has the best weight/structure setup anywhere.

 

how does an individual make so many noises while they eat? like smacking while you eat a cookie?! I actually think that's a fair question, because not everyone deletes their ads after they've sold it.

I don't. I don't have any RTTs anymore lol. I just included pictures to show how it was, since I had it specifically chosen/designed for the hardshell RTT to sit over the cab.
