really thought I'd get her with the sub 302k mileage....

 

My truck will one day sit in the feild beaten and broken while i look upon it every day and remember all the places its taken me and my family. It will never leave my possesion.

 

Thats just broken it man. That thing has another 300k in it. Run the wheels off it.

I grow very attached to vehicles. But this being the first new truck ive ever bought, and all the memories in it. I couldnt do it. Even if it gets totaled i would buy it back and rebuild it piece by piece. Oh and it would get SAS'd at that point to lol.

the way she rides I'm not betting on anything haha. I feel I've gotten my money's worth out of it already though. nice thing about cheap vehicles.

 

I agree, with you on the trouble of going back stock. It's a PITA.

Most people live life focused on money, rather it's saving it or spending it because everything we do either costs money or saves money.

just because most people do it, doesn't mean it's a good way to live.

 

I'm not going to do that, it's not going to rot away in my yard lol.

I have no reason to sell it, it's cheap enough just sitting there while I daily my POS car lol.

 

Im all about being broke and having as much fun with life in the now as i can. Never know if i wont wake up tomorrow. I want my kids to go on with the memories of the adventures and fun we had, not that i was a tight wad.

 

I would trade in for that if it made sense financially. I'd do it simply if the MPGs offset the cost difference between regular and diesel fuel.

I'll eat the upfront costs if it just equals out in fuel.

 

Thanks brother! She’s come a long way but is certainly purpose built. The headlights are the 2nd purely aesthetic mod I’ve done to the truck, 1st being the grill haha.

Now that I have the snorkel, I won’t have to worry so much about crossings like Coppinger when the water is high

 

Nope. Id buy the diesel but my inferno will not go anywhere. No trading.

 

so do we eliminate money and just do everything for each other out of the goodness of our hearts?

Not saying it would rot lol. It will always run, just over time it will gradualy make its way into a truggy and will just become a trailered play toy thats always broken

 

I'd hate for my family to bear the burden if I left them covering my life's decisions and expenses.
