I keep going back and forth, all OME or OME springs and bilstein shocks. I am going to do aal in the back with either one until I replace it with Dakar leaf pack.

Any reason you are going ICON? Like I said at the meet the deciding factor on Kings for me was because they are blue...

I'm planning on icon because they are the most maintenance free out of the performance options.

OME vs Bilstein. OME is a softer/smoother ride, bilstein is a bit more stiff. Depends on preference.

Not really. I want fox but couldn't swing it with the group buy being so soon. Its personal preference I suppose.

Are you watching the suspension group buy as well? What sort of "maintenance" does Icon avoid vs. Kings?

that's what I plan on ending up with. I was going to go with the 855 springs until I saved enough for the TC UCAs then move up to the 887s.

The kit with OME shocks are about 100 more than the kit with bilsteins. I am trying to decide if that is worth it?

Haha that'd be fine with me. More time for me to put money aside for King's. Btw TC UCAs have been great and ride wonderfully on my truck. Definitely worth the investment (though I got mine in a group buy for like 650$).

I've been checking it out here and there to see what kind of discounts they are going to give. I read an article when they listed which shocks were setup in different ways, and they listed the icons as the most maintenance free out of icon/fox/kings.

I believe the kings/Fox's are built more for off road racing. I want something good on and off road with little work to keep them working.

Yeah you're right they are setup for off road racing. Which makes me believe...they would be AWESOME for on road. With off road racing they tend to focus on Up Travel moreso than Down Travel, and I've always been a believer in that being the better route to focus on.

This helps a lot! OME sounds like my best choice because its a daily driver 90% of the time.

I will check this out right away! idk how I did not notice it, I have looked at lifts everyday this week at work

Problem is having them rebuilt here and there. I want to avoid that as much as possible.

Is that a common thing with Kings? I haven't seen anybody who runs King's not recommend them..they seem to be the most popular MT setup on this forum.

I haven't owned them myself. Maybe we get get an opinion of someone who owned them. I believe @TacoFMS has kings, but I may be wrong.

I'm just going by what I've read.
