Alabama thread!

I guess I'm old school with my Weber and Kingsford. Been grilling with that combo all my life, but would like something better to grill and smoke on.

 

Unfortunately I've moved into an apartment and they don't allow grills on the patio. They have a cement poured area where 4nor 5 grills congregate. Directly in the sun. So grilling for me is out for awhile...but smoking, God I love smoking. Its an art form.

If I ever get a chance to my dad has a smoked pork recipe that is amazing. 10 hours low heat then wrap it in foil and oven it for 8 hours.

 

They need some form of bracing to disperse the load of an impact to prevent deformation. They are one of the only skid designs in the market that have zero reinforcement, but they are also one of the cheapest offerings so it’s a give and take.

If you aren’t hitting the harder trails and/or slipping off rocks in wet/muddy conditions you probably won’t have an issue.

Just a heads up though. Once they bend they are a PITA to take on and off.

I have a Weber kettle I use when it rains so I can move under porch and still grill...

 

Thanks for the heads up, I did not know. I had a good look at @gixxerphil ’s SOS skids and he beat them up pretty good at Moab. It should be good enough for me hopefully lol

 

I cracked a naddy and said fuck it!

 

Pneumatic tools a BFH and some naddy makes the world go round.

Hopefully not too round and end up smashing your coil

 

rocks out west don’t dent stuff like the small sharp rocks in the southeast.

I looked out and about had a heart attack when I noticed my accord not parked in front of house at 4:45 this morning. Didn’t realize wife moved into the drive last night.
