Kayak'n was good. Was a really nice day yesterday with the low humidity. We mainly stayed in our little slew even though the lake wasn't that busy. Bro in law brought a wave runner and we rode it as well. Pretty relaxing day overall.

I'm out for weekend, babysitter is at beach.

On another note, any suggestion on getting the 14mm bolt out of crossmember to put passenger side slider on? I've exhausted everything I can think of. Might have to take it up to a shop to get them to remove 1 damn bolt.

Get some pb blaster or aerokroil if you can find it keep soaking it from top and bottom. Got an impact?

Its been soaking since last night. Got up and have tried every hour since 7am. My impact is only 166ft pounds and not budging. Drivers side was hand tight hah

What are you using to try to get bolt off with?

Heat the bolt up with a torch or one of those torch lighters. It will expand the metal. If it’s still stuck shoot with wd40 and use a 1/2 rachet and slip a Pipe or jack handle over the end of it.

I've tried impact, I've tried using 3ft breaker bar with another 3ft cheater. Just won't budge. I'll get it off eventually

Put the breaker bar back in and push it with your foot. That usally always works for me. Heat that bolt up too for like 2 min and I bet it will come off.

Tap it from the top with a hammer. Mine broke loose, but was spinning freely. I had to tap it with the hammer as I was turning the bolt, to finally get the threads to engage. Sounds like yours is stuck, still though, shocking it with the hammer may help break it loose.

Anyone know if all the trails at the slab are done? There were a couple of trails that didn’t have gates, I wanna go climb that hill over there tomorrow where we turned around last time

I think the usual gate on the left is still closed. If you'll take that angled road to the right, it will put you at the top of that hill you're talking about. It was right where the Sheriff's deputies put up the road block that day.
