Too bad Benchmade went full retard and were repping the anti-2A so hard. I wanted a Grip., but settled on a great Spyderco. Spyderco makes fine knives.

From time to time at work, I have the opportunity to design apparel. Today I did a thing that increased the cost by a few bucks per shirt on the run we’re about to have made.

We recently had someone associated with work diagnosed with cancer, so the shirts have a big ribbon and a message on them. The person is undergoing pretty aggressive treatments so I’ll be keeping a shaved head going forward and am trying for a Locks of Love type donation drive.

Doesn’t look good for the in-person donation drive since China messed up 2020 for everybody.

 

For a tool that you actually use to cut stuff with all day at work, you can't get much better than a Spydie in a super steel of some flavor. The thin, full flat grinds, cut like nobody's business.

 

Same reason I have a beard, buddy from high school was diagnosed with testicular cancer in high school and ended up losing 'lefty'. Unfortunately 20 years later was diagnosed again and lost 'righty'. Worse part, it spread and he fought a good fight and ultimately passed away. The beard was what he worried about losing the most - hair on his head didn't matter.

So now, we all have beards and doubt I will fully shave clean unless forced.
