    Lol I got a tag for that and had forgot about it, may try n persuade her to go.
    I’ve got a piece of 3/16 aluminum I was gonna make one but got a kBvoodooo tailgate cap and seems strong enough. If you want that piece of aluminum you can have it?
    Sounds like a good trip I’d be ground camping guess everybody is rtt?

    I will say the soft shell RTT setup and tear down (by yourself) is not that much faster than ground tent with 2 people setting it up. But Its a lot easier. Im looking into some hard shells because those can be setup in a minute by yourself and tear down is the exact same time.

    I can definitely get my rooftop tent put up faster than I can my ground tent. When you consider all of the bedding being stored in the RTT vs having to move the bedding in / out of the ground tent, it’s much less hassle to deal with a RTT. If you don’t store your bedding in the tent, I would agree that it’s not much different.

    But they are expensive and definitely not for everyone.
