Good to know it isn't just me! Our last trip to Choccolocco I had it happen for the first time. Jeff was behind me and saw it happen and we turned around to grab it.

I think there’s some stuff on the right side off 148 that could be opened up now. I remember some interesting places back off of white gap and bull gap road. Might not hurt to ride out to the watersheds and everything on the left before you get to 600-1 to see what’s open

You won't need heavy duty ones to support the trailer since your weight should be a lot less than the truck. What you do want is ones that leave the trailer at close to level as possible when it hooks up to the truck. A big changer for me was adding trailer shocks to have it ride better. I was pushing 93 going downhill in Arkansas last month and trailer was riding smooth as could be.

It's the medium springs. And the trailer should be level with the truck(tongue headed slightly down). It's using the same frame/susp/wheels/tires. I will definitely put shocks on it.

Slightly down is what you want according to friend that helped me set up mine, especially when truck is loaded up with other gear.

Just got back from nephews wedding Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Wifey, me and new couple after she made me look presentable.

It'll drop the 2" to the ball. I figure once I get the HC rear bumper I'll need a drop hitch :D

I've got a spare 8" drop hitch in my garage. Let me know if you want it! It wasn't enough drop for me and I had to go to the 10" drop hitch.
