You're gonna make it a sweet setup and be in less than 300 bucks total said and done. Shit throw the cheapest red dot you can find too. Thin will get the job done and it'll be cool

I'll run a Vortex optic on it. I'm a fan of their stuff. It's great bang for the buck.

I drove the truck to my parents on Christmas Eve and when I started it this morning the 4x4 engagement light was flashing like it was between 2wd and 4H.

There were no other error messages or lights. Turning the 4x4 knob had no effect on anything. No engagement lights, warning displays or sounds even when turned to 4L.

I drove for about 45 minutes, went into a store and started it up and flashing was gone. I didn’t dare mess with the 4x4 switch so far from home for fear of getting stuck in 4wd. After about another hour of driving, I shut it off and started again and flashing came back.

I’ve been reading and it sounds like the front differential actuator is dead. Anyone else had a similar experience?

My only experience with a hi-point was their pistol in 45 well lets just say a slide coming off and smacking you in the face created a flinch reflex it took me a while to overcome. I'm anti- hi-point if there were a gun company I'd like to see die a fiery death to the ATF it's them.

Where it's made the components and where they are made etc.

I have the X20 comp and it has been abused as usual by what I do chaffed line still doing hard pulls good winch. Submerged in muddy nasty water, hook slammed into rocks, single line pulls that probably should of been compound, pulled on like a tow strap. I think in a yr it's shown itself very worthy for the $$$$.

There are quite a few articles out there with it take them with a grain of salt, I'm not saying that was the reason but it leads to speculation. I side with more of the domestic terrorism side and trying to hurt the grid and cause other issues exposing weaknesses and then planning for others.

From the reviews and articles, the carbines seem to be much better/reliable. This will be the first Hi-Point I have owned.
I've been since they built the monument for the victims. The small chairs for the kids was something else. That place just had an irie felling for me.
