It’s really hard to see flux. I’ve got sections that look almost like MIG, but flux is so inconsistent it doesn’t matter what your hand does sometimes. I feel like a caveman with flux, but the few times I played with TIG I felt like I was holding a brush. I think that’s another pull for me to want to TIG, but I’ll probably jump to a MIG machine first. It’s more logical for my wants right now. After the house is paid off and finished, I’m going to start a truggy build, at which point I’ll step up to a TIG.

John, correct me if I'm wrong, but can't you add/remove individuals to the trust after the stamp is approved?

    My FFL mentioned that before.

    Morning

    From AlabamaWX

DRY AIR IN PLACE: Temperatures are generally in the 24-32 degree range across Alabama early this morning; our weather will stay dry today with a high in the upper 50s this afternoon under a partly to mostly sunny sky. The average high for Birmingham on January 4 is 53. Our weather stays rain-free tomorrow and Wednesday… expect a good supply of sunshine both days with highs between 57 and 60 degrees for most communities. Clouds return Wednesday night.

RAIN RETURNS: The next upper wave moving in from the west will bring periods of rain to the state Thursday. No risk of severe storms, and probably no thunder. It won’t rain all day, but occasional rain is likely with temperatures holding in the upper 40s and low 50s; rain amounts of around 1/2 inch are likely. Rain ends late Thursday night and early Friday; can’t totally rule out a snow flake or two over the Tennessee Valley of far North Alabama due to dynamic cooling, but if that happens there won’t be any accumulation or impact. Look for slow clearing Friday with a high in the upper 40s.

THE ALABAMA WEEKEND: The sky will be partly to mostly sunny Saturday; we start the day in the 20s, and the high will be close to 50 degrees. The day Sunday will be dry with a slow increase in cloud cover; Sunday’s high will be in the mid 50s.

SUNDAY NIGHT/MONDAY: The wave train rolls along, and the next one will bring rain to the state Sunday night into Monday. There is some evidence from global model ensemble output that some snow could involved initially over North Alabama as the precipitation begins, but for now this is only an outside possibility and thermal values suggest mostly rain for the state. Temperatures will hold in the 40s Monday; for now it looks like the main window for rain will come from about midnight Sunday night through noon Monday. This, of course, is a week out and the forecast could easily change.

REST OF NEXT WEEK: Cool, dry weather is likely for the mid-week periods before more rain returns either Thursday or Friday… See the Weather Xtreme video for maps, graphics, and more details.

ON THIS DATE IN 1917: A tornado with estimated F3 damage cut a 15-mile path and struck a school at Vireton in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, killing 16 people. It ranks as the 4th worst school tornado disaster in U.S. history. Ahead of that storm system, very warm air surged into the Southeast U.S… Birmingham’s high on January 4, 1917 was 75 degrees, a record for the date that still stands today.

Yea this has been the craziest remodel ever, I’m the only one I’ve heard of a where the contractor died middle of the job. There’s been drama with that, then his guys worked good till the past two weeks. I got more done from Thursday on than they did in two weeks.

Package sat at the post office for a week and then shipped out the day before new years. Now says supposed to be here tomorrow. Was only coming from New York. 2 plus week delivery time. This has gotten out of hand. I want my Amazon prime service back lol.

You can alter the trust with an addendum at any time. Not sure about the adding individuals and whether those individuals finger prints and other info would have to be submitted to ATF. Silencer Talk forum is a good place to post questions and get answers from those more knowledgeable.

If you ever have that happen again, submit a missing package on usps website. They are supposed to actually look at that point. I had 3 Amazon packages get stuck at a postal hub and corrected in a day after I submitted lost.

Hey All, I am in Hoover. Bought a 2020 OR a few months ago. Is there a local place you guys trust/use for suspension work? Would like to add a small lift before adding slimline/winch. Getting quotes and ideas. Thinking 6112/5100 or Fox 2.0. Mainly DD/camping/dirt roads.

Welcome to the forum. Most of us do our own work in here. That being said 4wp and southern off-road do pretty good work most of the time, but are over priced. They wanted $400 at southern to do a cab mount chop. We have mod days usally 2 times a year so you could probably get in on one of those and have free labor lol.

This is a long shot, but does anyone know where I can get replacement King parts somewhat locally to Huntsville, yesterday? Replacing the spherical bushings on my shocks today, found out the spacers are the culprit and not the bearing itself. Trying to get this thing ready for Windrock this weekend!

PN is 25016-006 if it helps...

Try 4WP in Pelham, they get the bearings for me, they may have some.

Well boys I’m stumped. Was trying to take off my lugs to start on my HH install and Toyota stripped a couple of my lugs.so I had to hammer a smaller size over the lug but now the cage around the lugs are broken and it just spins in place. Any ideas?

That happened to me too with the OEM lug nuts. I’ve got some black ones you can have. I drove mine to the dealership and got them to fix it since they screwed it up. Maybe you can tack weld a socket to it?
