Any recommendations of someone or a company to do a CMC in Troy, Al to the Fort Walton, Fl area?

It seems like all I do is get on here and ask questions but here it goes. I bought some sliders from mobtown and I'm looking to get them powder coated. Anyone know a good place? I've gotten a qoute for $300 for powder coat and the same for line x. Seems like a lot. Birmingham area. Thanks

 

There is a place in trussville I have heard is good. Idk what max size they can coat.

If you plan to wheel it, you're going to scrape them up. We all usually just prime and paint them ourselves. That way we can touch them up easily when we ding them up.

I do plan on it but nothing extreme until I knock the new off. I saw on here somewhere but can't remember where. What type of paint?

 

Rustoleum seems pretty popular. Personally, I like the cheap spray on bedliner.

 

I am installing my lift Saturday!!! I have never installed one before, any tips to make this as smooth as possible?

 

Pnumatic tools, makes it a lot easier. Also, 2 jacks depending on the lift you're installing.

I am installing full OME. coils are assembled, and dakars for the back. Seems like a straight swap.

 

You will want 2 jacks. One for the truck, and one for raising and lowering the rear axle. Makes installing the leaf packs easier. Jack stands also help.

 

I did a roll on Bed liner but with a brush....it worked great and looks great to. Bout to mount them up on my baby this weekend.

On a second note
So I was given the go ahead on a lift. I don't think it will be within the month that I buy it but I'm curious as to what some of y'all are running. I had a ome with 886 on my 08 and thought it was great for what I used it for and right price. I'm looking primarily at fox because I run fox on my f150 with a bds 6" I think it handles good for that height and the driving I do in it. But I know I can't compare those 2 vehicles anywhere on the same scale. So my question is I do off-roading from light to "oh hey I'm on three wheels." I mainly have bumpy ass dirt roads that would loosen bolts on a vehicle with pot holes big enough to put a human in it. But also a lot of highway driving. Like 662 miles one way. And 500+ to another place one way. I plan on armor I have winch. Any suggestions? Maybe different brand lift?

Pablo's answered my 2nd call. He was going to look at the sliders online but gave me a quote for $80. Gonna go this route

 

That isn't bad.

 

I thought it was a good price. Especially after my $300 qoutes. Hopefully it will be the same after he looks at them
