Well kinda. So we tore it down took the ring gear off and I drove 90% home. Then due to the bent axle tube 2 of the 4 bolts sheered off that hold the axle in.

Yeah. Look the way I came sliding down the speed and all the weight on that one wheel it was kinda inevitable. To tell you the truth I was more concerned with sheering the center pin on the leafs and shoving the axle forward. There are some 9" ford rear gussets you could adapt. Also that style of gusset is typically used on drag cars. It's also the fact that ALL stock axle tubes are pretty weak sauce unless you get a Dana 70, 80, or 14b the rest have all bent and failed at some point.

@cubie thanks again for the seat covers. The fit great. Now I've got to source the fronts.

Yes 2nd & 3rd gen tundra axles either the 9.5 or the 10.5. You'll have to send the axles in to currie or someone like that and have the stud holes welded and redrilled since they are a 5 lug. Also the hub bore part needs turned down a bit. You could also order custom adapters from Bora to fit them.

The venerable full float 9", ECGS dana 60 or dynatrac dana 60, any won ton out of a junk yard. Just depends on how what you want.

I'm pricing a full float 9" to swap. Just fix mine so I can drive it until that comes in all depends on time frame and cost.

If I did the type of heavy foot wheeling you do I’d seriously consider the ecgs axle lol. I’ll probably just end up adding gussets to my stock axle even though I’ll probably never need them but rather be other built than under
